Trainers and Competitions

Once I was invited to watch the races by my friend. It was an honor for me, I should add because Justas had never done it before. I knew how much athletics meant for him. He said that he had been looking for good boots for two weeks. Finally he found them online store. It was a great day for my friend and me as well. His team is very close - everybody was in a good mood. They were sensitized to the winning. Their coach was inspiring the team. It seemed everything was perfect. I was delighted. The competitions began - the judge gave a start and ten sportsmen and Justas among them rushed off. However, I caught a moment when something went wrong with my friend. He approached the second to finish. I was excited what had happened to him. During the competition Justas was the first one. After the competition he came up to the judge and asked to repeat the race. He explained that it was unfair. When he entered the race everything was alright and at the end of it the lace on his right trainer untied and he had to stop to tie it. Justas pleaded to repeat the race. He insisted that the competitions were wrong and he was not satisfied. His shoes were of trendy firm and they couldn't let him down. He thought somebody had replaced his shoes before the competitions. However, he failed. The judge was stern - he was actually inflexible in such cases. He tried to explain that it had been Justas fault - he should have checked his boots beforehand. Justas was very upset – he dreamt to celebrate his winning but didn't manage to do it. We left the place distressed and with a sad heart. Despite of this fact athletics is still Justas' favorite.
